I found this poem on a blog i just found called The Life and Times of a Forever Witch.
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann’d:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
I found this video on a fairly new blog called The Poetry of the Earth. Other videos by this artist also sound very good. And I will be keeping an eye on posts from this blogger in the future. Enjoy.
I just finished the 1975 book by William G. Gray entitled The Rollright Rituals, and it is very good. It is Not “Wicca” but the old Witchcraft of the British Isles. The photography, which is by Lee James, and the art work which is by Linda Wheeler are very evocative and catch the spirit of this ritual done at the old Rollright Stones in Great Britain.
On the one page is a shield with runes around it, and i just had to translate it (see below). He is using an Ango-Saxon style of Runes with some variations regarding the A, E, D, M and Y runes. Enjoy.
